Tuition
Effective Spring 2023, active-duty military personnel and their dependents who are distance education students at N.C. A&T State University will be charged the in-state tuition rate.
Deployment Procedure
As soon as you know that you will be deployed, please immediately fax a copy of your orders to the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs at 336-256-2433 and email the following:
- your faculty member
- your academic advisor
- the above Office of Veteran and Military Affairs contacts
Troops to Teachers (TTT)
The purpose of Troops to Teachers (TTT) is to assist eligible military personnel to transition to a new career as public school teachers in targeted schools. A network of state TTT Offices provides participants with counseling and assistance regarding certification requirements, routes to state certification and employment leads.

ArmyIgnitED
ArmyIgnitED is the virtual gateway for all eligible Active Duty, National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers to request Tuition Assistance (TA) online, anytime, anywhere for classroom and distance education. It allows soldiers to manage their education records including college classes, testing, on-duty classes and Army Education Counselor support.
Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Institutional Member
The SOC, an association of approximately 1,900 colleges and universities, ensures service members like you and your family are given sufficient educational opportunities. SOC is funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) and coordinated through DANTES.
