Certificate in Environmental Health & Safety
The Environmental Health and Safety(EHS) certificate is designed for individuals who are interested in obtaining an advanced certificate in EHS. Upon completion, the student will develop technical and managerial skills for environmental health and safety programs. This certificate prepares individuals to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control workplace hazards and accidents.

Admission Requirements
The admission of students to the undergraduate certificate program in Environmental Health & Safety is based on general admission requirements of North Carolina A&T State University.
Program Requirements
Students who desire to matriculate into the Environmental Health and Safety certificate program in the Department of Built Environment must have a strong background in math, science, and communication skills. Basic computer skills are required. Upon completion of 18 semester hours, the student will receive a certificate.
