Our Approach
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is an established leader in higher education celebrating our 129th anniversary in higher education. We merge academic rigor with the convenience of state-of-the-art online instructional technology to make our programs accessible to students all over the world.
With over 20 certificate and degree programs available at the bachelor's, masters, or doctoral level, N.C. A&T brings the same academically rigorous programs to our online students as those enjoyed by our on-campus students. In addition to a stimulating learning environment, you will find the support, counseling, and resources that you need to be successful.
We Support Our Students
A&T Online, in close cooperation with the academic departments, enables students to access degree programs and courses of the University at convenient sites and times. Courses are offered at a distance through online and extension programs.
Each degree and certificate program has a program coordinator that will assist you with selecting your courses, identifying student services and resources, and staying on the right path to graduation.

Each course includes resources to help you succeed online, whether you’re a beginner or a veteran online learner. The focus is on learning, with an emphasis on consistent course organization so your learning activities, resources, and assignments are easy to locate.
Courses Designed Specifically for Your Major
Each course is uniquely designed specifically for your program of study, from communications to technology, nursing, or liberal studies. Different academic disciplines require different approaches and each program is custom designed with this in mind.

Students enrolled in online courses at A&T have the opportunity to learn from diverse faculty who are leading researchers in their respective areas. Faculty provide engaging and interactive courses that demonstrate A&T's commitment to enhancing student experiences through the use of innovative and effective instructional technologies.
Affordable Tuition
Tuition rates are reviewed by the University's Board of Trustees and the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina System and set annually by the North Carolina legislature. Fees are reviewed and approved by the University's Board of Trustees with final approval pending the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina System review. Tuition rates per credit hour vary for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as resident and non-resident students.

Your college journey continues at A&T. Every year, we enroll a number of transfer students from colleges across North Carolina and throughout the country. Whether you have an associate’s degree or a few semesters of credit under your belt, there is a place for you in the diverse and welcoming Aggie community.
Transfer Admissions will assist prospective and currently enrolled undergraduate students and the Graduate College will assist prospective and currently enrolled graduate students with the transferability of credits to North Carolina A&T.
