Graduate Interdisciplinary Environmental Certificate Program (IECP)
The Interdisciplinary Environmental Certificate Program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge to develop innovative and creative solutions to improve and sustain the environment. There are two online graduate certificate concentrations: the Interdisciplinary Environmental Justice Certificate (IEJC) and the Interdisciplinary Environmental Health and Safety Certificate (IEHC).
Interdisciplinary Environmental Justice Certificate (IEJC)
Students will gain knowledge of local, state, and federal policies; social justice dynamics and public policies that impact environmental decision-making; economic activity and the environment; the history of environmental justice; and ethical considerations of environmental decision-making.

Interdisciplinary Environmental Health and Safety Certificate (IEHC)
Students will gain knowledge of health and safety challenges in the workplace, home, and public spaces; chemical, physical, and biological hazards, and their controls; toxicological impacts of exposure to hazards; and environmental regulations

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Graduate Interdisciplinary Environmental Certificate Program requires an earned B.A./B.S. degree and application for admission through the Graduate College.
Program Requirements
