Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
The BS in Information Technology program* provides students with the core skills needed to enter and be successful in the Information Technology (IT) profession. Students will have the opportunity to learn the foundations of networks, servers, storage, mainframe/enterprise systems, and cloud environments. The program* has a focus on mainframe education. This niche area was identified because of: 1) the department’s acquisition of a z9 Enterprise system, 2) the scarcity of mainframe education programs in the country, and 3) the high demand for talent in this area.
